Campesino Organic Coffee Co. Featured on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s “Fork In The Road”

We’re thrilled to share that Café Campesino was recently featured on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s acclaimed show “Fork In The Road” in their episode titled “Coffee & Cue.” This beautifully crafted segment captures the essence of our 27-year journey as Georgia’s first and only 100% organic, fair trade coffee roaster, showcasing our deep roots in the Americus community and our commitment to ethical and high quality specialty coffee sourcing. The feature includes interviews with our founder, our CEO, and key staff members, providing viewers with an authentic glimpse into the passion and dedication that drives our mission every day. Host David Zelski tells our story, highlighting how we’ve grown over the years into a business that partners with coffeehouses, markets, restaurants, and individuals all across Georgia and the country while staying true to our core values of supporting small-scale farmers, their cooperatives, and their communities worldwide.

  1. I discovered the Fair Trade Coffee while riding RAGBRAI. It was very inspiring to get up pack up and head out on the days route hunting for the Fair Trade coffee stop which was usually between 4 and 9 miles out. They called it the RAGBRAI blend. It was a coffee that I could enjoy black while watching the other riders going by not knowing what they were missing.
It was the best stop of the day. I was disappointed when they stopped coming to RAGBRAI.

  2. Watching the episode now. I am a coffeholic and love supporting “local”. I can’t buy in- store here in Columbus. I bet you can/could find an audience here. There are a number of local coffee cafes. There is a local coffee café who sells their roasts at The Fresh Market. Maybe you can get a display in there too. (hint hint)
